입체사영 (stereographic projection)

개요

• 리만구면의 점을 복소평면으로 대응시키는 사상
• 각도를 보존하는 등각 사상으로 복소함수론 에서 중요한 역할을 함
• 구면에 복소다양체 구조를 주는데 사용할 수 있음

 

 

 

정의

• 단위구면 \(\mathbb{S}^2 : x^2+y^2+z^2=1\) 위의 점 (x,y,z) 을 북극점 (0,0,1)과 이은 직선이 평면 z=0과 만나는 점으로 보내는 사상
• 점(x,y,z) 은 평면 위의 점 \((\frac{x}{1-z},\frac{y}{1-z})\) 으로 보내지게 된다
