• $B$ : upper triangular matrices in $G$
• $B_{-}$ : lower triangular matrices in $G$
• $W=S_{n}$ we can think of it as a subgroup of $G$
• Double cosets \(BwB\) and \(B_{-}wB_{-}\) are called Bruhat cells.
